Switch Gear

ACB

ACB stands for Air Circuit Breaker. It is a type of switchgear that is used to protect electrical equipment from short circuits and overloads. It is used in low voltage applications and is designed to interrupt the flow of electricity when there is an overload or short circuit.

MCB

MCB stands for Miniature Circuit Breaker. It is a type of switchgear that is used to protect electrical equipment from short circuits and overloads. It is used in low voltage applications and is designed to interrupt the flow of electricity when there is an overload or short circuit.

MCCB

MCCB stands for Molded Case Circuit Breaker. It is an automatic electrical device that protects the circuit from overloading, short circuit and current surges. It is an advanced version of miniature circuit breaker (MCB) since it operates like one. MCCBs are required components of electrical systems, providing overload protection and short-circuit protection. In most cases, MCCBs are installed in the main power distribution board of a facility, allowing the system to be easily shut down when necessary.

RCCB

RCCB stands for Residual Current Circuit Breaker. It is a leakage current sensing device that can automatically measure and disconnect the circuit whenever a fault occurs in the associated circuit or the current exceeds the rated sensitivity. RCCB works based on the principle of Kirchhoff’s current law. The law states that the incoming current must be equal to the outgoing current in a circuit. RCCB thus differentiates the deviation in current values between live and neutral wires.

ELCB

ELCB stands for Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker. It is a safety device used in electrical installations with high Earth impedance to prevent shock. It detects small stray voltages on the metal enclosures of electrical equipment and interrupts the circuit if a dangerous voltage is detected. An ELCB is a specialised type of latching relay that has a building’s incoming mains power connected through its switching contacts so that the ELCB disconnects the power when earth leakage is detected. The ELCB detects fault currents from live to the Earth (ground) wire within the installation it protects.

HT Cable

MCB Enclosures are used to mount MCB and protect it from water so that it can automatically break the circuit whenever there is uneven load, overload as well as in faulty conditions. So that there is no damage occurs to the electric circuit.

SPN DB

SPN DB stands for Single Pole Neutral Distribution Board. It is a type of distribution board that is used in electrical installations. It is used to distribute electrical power to different circuits in a building. The SPN DB has a single pole and neutral connection for each circuit.

TPN DB

TPN DB stands for Triple Pole Neutral Distribution Board. It is a type of distribution board that is used in electrical installations. It is used to distribute electrical power to different circuits in a building. The TPN DB has three poles and neutral connection for each circuit.

CHANGE OVER SWITCH

A changeover switch is an electrical switch that allows a load to be changed from one electrical source to another and vice versa, either manually or automatically.

SFU Switch

SFU stands for Switch Fuse Unit. It is a type of electrical panel that contains a switch and a fuse. The switch is separate and the fuse is installed external to the switch.

Contactor

Contactors are electrical devices that are used to switch an electrical circuit on or off. They are used in various applications such as motors, lighting, heating and ventilation systems.

Relays

Relays are used in switchgear to detect abnormal conditions in electrical circuits by constantly measuring the electrical quantities like current, voltage, frequency and phase angle. If it is found in abnormal values then the relay operates to close the trip circuit of the breaker.

KWH Meter

A kilowatt-hour meter (kWh meter) is an electronic monitoring device that measures the consumed energy flowing through a circuit such as a standard 120V or 240Vac line and acts as a kWh calculator.

CT Coil

A current transformer (CT) is a type of instrument transformer designed to step down the current in the secondary for protection and measurement of proportional primary current. These transformers with low range ampere meters are used to measure the current in the high voltage circuits.

TTB

Test Terminal Blocks (TTB’s) can be used for testing a wide range of electrical equipment including integrating meters and protective relays, without disturbing the normal load circuit. Terminal arrangements can be adapted by us to suit many other applications. Front and back connected types. All terminals and screws are plated brass.

DOL Starter

DOL stands for Direct On-Line. The DOL starter is one of the types of Motor starter which connects the motor to the line voltages directly. To start the induction motor in the simplest and cheapest way this type of starter is used.

Star Delta Starter

A star delta starter is a type of reduced voltage starter used for motor application. It is a common starting method for 3 phase induction motors. It is used when the motor is designed to run on the delta connected stator winding but the power source available is only single-phase. It is also used when starting current of the motor needs to be reduced.
