Cable

HT Cable

HT cable stands for High Tension cable. It is used for carrying current at high voltage. The HT cable range from Havells are manufactured at the largest integrated cable unit in India and use high quality copper and aluminium conductors. They are available in single core and multi core.

LT Cable

LT Cable stands for Low Tension Cable. It is used for transmitting electrical energy from one point to another at low voltage levels. These cables are used in various applications such as power distribution, underground cabling, and wiring of electrical equipment. They are made up of copper or aluminium conductors and are insulated with PVC or XLPE insulation material.

House Wire

House electrical wire is a type of conductor that carries electricity in homes. It usually comes in an insulated sleeve with two or more wires inside. The wires have different colours to indicate their functions. The black wire is the “hot” wire that carries the current, the white wire is the “neutral” wire that completes the circuit, and the bare copper wire is the ground wire that provides safety. The wire can be solid or stranded, and is often made of copper or aluminium.

Control Cable

Control cables are used to connect instrument transformers, coils of circuit breakers and contactors, control switches, meters, protection devices and other control and monitoring equipment. Control cables have conductors in copper, insulation and outer sheath in PVC and they may have up to 150 cores.

Cat 6 Cable

Category 6 cable (Cat 6) is a standardized twisted pair cable for Ethernet and other network physical layers that is backward compatible with the Category 5/5e and Category 3 cable standards. Cat 6 must meet more stringent specifications for crosstalk and system noise than Cat 5 and Cat 5e. It is used mainly for computer networks reaching a Gb, 1000 Mbps or one Gbps of data transfer speed (DTR) or higher. It contains four pairs of copper wire and uses all the pairs for signalling to obtain its high level of performance.

CCTV Cable

CCTV cables refer to the cables used to transmit video and audio signals from a CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) camera to a recording device or monitor1. CCTV is used for mostly surveillance purposes bearing crime preventing, safety, monitoring and crime solving in mind2. The two main security camera cable types are Ethernet and Siamese cables.

Telephone Cable

A telephone cable is a physical path that transmits electromagnetic waves and carries information from point to point. It is a method of guided transmission for your phone line, and is made of a conductive material such as copper wiring. Telephone cables connect circuits in a system, and play a vital role in our interconnected world, transmitting both sound and data from location to location. They are used to connect landline telephones or PCs to telecommunications networks. There are different types of telephone cables such as coaxial cables.
